Review: Chosen by Love by Toni Aleo

Welcome back, fellow book lovers! Today, I’m excited to share my thoughts on Toni Aleo’s latest release, “Chosen by Love,” the eighth installment in the Bellevue Bullies series. Get ready for an emotional whirlwind as we dive into the epic love tale of Cameron White, the campus gymnast extraordinaire, and Benson Jeannot, the hockey hottie aiming for the NHL. And can we just talk about how thrilled I am that we’re getting more of their story after feeling a bit short-changed with Her Choice?

The story kicks off with Cameron throwing a wild idea at Benson: a fake dating gig for her final marketing project. Little does Cameron know; Benson has been eagerly awaiting a second chance to win her over. From their initial chemistry in freshman year to the tough life decision that separated them, Cameron and Benson’s journey is both poignant and sizzling. As they navigate the complexities of their past, you will be taken on a journey filled with heartbreak, guilt, forgiveness, and ultimately, love. Benson’s unwavering determination to reignite the flame between them is a central theme that adds depth to the narrative. Cameron, armed with a strong-willed and determined attitude, must confront her past and open herself up to the possibility of a future with Benson.

The ensemble cast of supporting characters, including teammates, friends, and the Adler family, provides a vibrant backdrop to the main romance, enriching the overall storytelling experience. The tease chapters involving Quinn, Ava, and Emery leave us eagerly anticipating the future developments in the Assassins Next-Gen universe.

In a nutshell, “Chosen by Love” is a must-read for fans of second-chance romances. I laughed, I cried, I got mad—the whole emotional rollercoaster. Seriously, you’ll be feeling all the feels at some point.

Happy reading!
