Review: Code Name: Omega by Sawyer Bennett

I don’t even remember when I started to read the Jameson Force Security series but it was somewhere before 3rd or 4th book. I cannot believe Code Name: Omega is the 10th and the last book of the series. To say the least, this book was an amazing end to a great series. Even though there are too many great heroes and heroines through the series, Kellen and Abby became my favorite 😊

Kellen McCord is an ex-marine and the newest addition to the Jameson team. We first met him during Dozer’s story but didn’t get a chance to know him since he was trying to move to Pittsburgh from CA and protect Jessica’s daughter and mom. Now he is fully located on the east coast, and he didn’t just move his residence, he also moved away from a cheater. Thank you, Adriana, for cheating otherwise, we wouldn’t get a chance to meet with amazing Dr. Blackburn. Kellen enjoys what he is doing for Jameson and the people he works with, but his most loyal companion is his dog Bubba, aka Omega, who has been with him since Marine Corps. After returning from a mission, he realizes something is off with Bubba and he doesn’t even wait to see what it might be to go to the vet clinic. However, Bubba’s regular vet is on vacation, and her behalf, Dr. Blackburn takes care of Bubba. Abby Blackburn is a spitfire. She is strong, smart, sassy, and loves what she does. Since Bubba ate something, he shouldn’t have he stays at the clinic overnight. This is a good thing because it gives Kellen a reason to visit the clinic one more time. When he is there to pick Bubba up, he witnesses a visit and voluntarily becomes an accomplice to a crime. Yeap, you didn’t read it wrong, I wrote ‘CRIME’. The good thing is it is illegal but morally right 🙂 Abby does her best to save animals that are being abused and her number one enemy is Levi Hellman, who runs a puppy mill. She does her best to shut his operation legally but nothing works so she decides to take matters into her hands which includes rescuing the dogs by stealing them 🙂 When Levi shows up at the clinic to get his golden back, Kellen is there to intervene and kick him out. Then, of course, he volunteers to foster her which earns him a dinner with the hot doctor and everything escalates from there on, which includes bailing Abby out of jail, using Bebe’s hacking skills, Jameson’s muscle, and contacts to bring down the evil one more time. It was a sweet, steamy journey that I couldn’t help but turn the pages fast enough to see what will happen next.

It is really sad to say goodbye to these amazing bunch, but I am hopeful to see bits and pieces of them in another series of Sawyer Bennett. I am also hoping there will be a new series that will host billionaire cowboys, aka Abby’s brothers 🙂
