The release of ‘Chase is Over’ was a total surprise and made me super happy. I was going into Toni Aleo withdraws and about to start re-reading my favorites again 🙂 I love Assassins family and I don’t think I will ever get tired of them. Yeah, yeah I know, you probably read the same sentence from me in each and every book I reviewed from the series but what can I say this series is my all-time favorite. So finally, the wedding of the century has arrived. Thank god it happened before Shea had a heart attack. Poor Shea with his angina and getting poor by Shelli’s not ending additions to her nuptials 🙂
Shelli knew Aiden was the one for her since childhood, so she started to plan her wedding pretty early 🙂 She has a whole book, which is also known as ‘wedding book from hell’, with cut-outs and every itsy-bitsy detail she wants on her wedding day. So with too much to plan and busy work life, Shelli turns into a bridezilla and stress is getting to her when the day is getting closer. But the wedding is not the main cause of her stress and outbursts. One piece of information she is purposely avoiding sharing with Aiden is the main reason. When Aiden finds out about this, it will cause some tension between the bride and groom. However, they will quickly remember that they are a team and will find a way to overcome the issue together. It was amazing and hilarious to see everyone getting together for the wedding. I am so happy that Shelli and Aiden got their happily-ever-after but I am dying to know what will come next. Here is what I think about what is to come. First, since we got a glimpse of Wes and Stella at the end of the wedding, I am thinking their story will be next. I am really curious about Wes and his past so I am pretty excited about that 🙂 As for my second theory, this can be either a New-Generation or Wild Cats addition but I think I prefer Wild Cats since I want to see more of Chandler and Nico, I was thinking Evan and Angie. Man, that would be amazing and super hilarious. Adlers vs. Paxton-Sinclairs. Hah! Let’s see how does it feel to be on the receiving end of the overprotective dads/uncles, my dear Shea. I know she is still young and she won’t get her story for a while but I am dying to see who will be the one that will tame Emery, the little firecracker 🙂
If you are curious about how Shelli and Aiden’s story started, check out Dump & Chase. I promise you will enjoy the beginning 🙂
