Louise Bay, slowly but surely became one of my auto-buy authors. I read most of her books and I enjoy her writing style. Mr. Knightsbridge is the second book of The Mister series but no worries you can also read it as a standalone. But after you are done reading it, I am pretty sure you will go ahead and read Mr. Mayfair as well 🙂
Dexter Daniels comes from a talented family. His parents were well known and sought-after jewelers who owned a store in London. Since childhood carrying family legacy to the next generation was Dexter’s dream. Unfortunately, a horrible accident caused Dexter to not only lost his parents but also his lifelong dream. Since he was still not old enough to take over and struggling with grief and pain, he couldn’t do anything while his brother sold his parents’ store. Even though it was painful he tried to leave everything behind, including his brother, and start from the bottom. Now he owns one of the best jewelry houses in the world Daniels & Co. He still wants to show the world he is carrying his parents’ legacy and winning the competition for designing wedding jewelry for Princess of Finland is the best way to do it. This is also really sentimental for him because his parents designed the Queen’s wedding jewelry. Dexter is sweet, loyal, protective, smart, and talented. He has an eye for stones, and he can envision the finished product with one look. In the end, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree 🙂 Because of the pain it causes to Dexter, he never opened a store in London and doesn’t mingle with local jewelers there. But due to competition now he needs to show his face in some events and also mingle with people. During the first competition event, he saw a woman who instead of mingling with people, diligently appreciates his parents’ work which piques his interest. Hollie Lumen is a strong, intelligent, independent, and talented young woman who came to London to pursue her dream. Throughout her life, she always struggled to make ends and since her parents were good for nothing kind of parents, she had to work hard to take care of them and also her younger sister. So, she never had a chance to dream or want something for herself. However, when she opens an Etsy store and start selling her designs, for the first time she wanted something for herself, to become a jewelry designer. Unfortunately, just having a successful Etsy store is not enough to land a designer job. Everyone is either asking for a recommendation or an experience, so when she lands an internship in one of the well-known jewelry stores in London, she jumps to the opportunity. Now she is in another continent, in an environment, she never even dreams of being in, surrounded by priceless royal jewelry and one of the hottest and most successful men in the jewelry business is trying to convince her for a date. Life is good for Hollie and she is getting settled with her internship and life in London. Unfortunately, everything is turning upside down when she gets fired from her internship just after a couple of weeks. While making plans of getting back to Oregon, she calls Dexter so that she can rant, get drunk, and hang out with him one last time. What happens to Hollie next, does she stay or go back? Will Dexter win the competition? These are the answers you should seek for yourself 🙂
Mr. Knightsbridge is sweet, inspiring, hot, swoony, romantic page-turner, which I devoured. I am also in love with Dexter’s gang 🙂 His loyal friends Gabriel, Tristan, Beck, Andrew, and Joshua. I love how they are always there for each other. We also have an honorary member Stella, who is Beck’s other half. They are also the stars of Mr. Mayfair 🙂 Hollie’s sister Autumn was a sweet addition to the story as well and if I am not mistaken we will see her in the future as well and maybe with Gabriel, the hottest and most level headed one of the gang. If you are looking for a light, sweet, fact-pacing romance, this book can be what you are looking for.

About Louise:
USA Today bestselling author, Louise Bay writes sexy, contemporary romance novels – the kind she likes to read. Her books include the novels Faithful (not currently on sale as undergoing maintenance!), Hopeful, The Empire State Series, The Royals Series, The Nights Series (both series of standalone books each following different characters) and the standalone Gentleman series.
Ruined by romantic mini-series of the eighties, Louise loves all things romantic. There’s not enough of it in real life so she disappears into the fictional worlds in books and films.
Louise loves the rain, The West Wing, London, days when she doesn’t have to wear make-up, being on her own, being with friends, elephants and champagne.
She loves to hear from readers so get in touch!
