‘Win Big’ by Kelly Jamieson

‘Win Big’ is the third book of Kelly Jamieson’s ‘Wynn Hockey’ series and with each and every book this series becoming one of my favorite hockey series 🙂

Everly Wynn, aka Princess Wynn, is the director of Condors Foundation and since her father Bob owns the team, she tries her best to prove that she deserves the title. After the scandal she caused, she does everything to make her parents proud which in return she turns into a really serious and responsible person she is. She is always so prim and proper. At the beginning it felt like she was boring but thanks to this book, I get a chance to see another side of Everly that I really liked. New traits made her more relatable and likable. Wyatt Bell plays defense in California Condors. He lives my his motto: ‘Life is short, and you go to live it to the fullest.’ He is carefree, hot and a player. Or NOT! He hides behind his playboy mask and act carefree but the truth is so far from this persona he created. Since he is Lacey and Theo’s neighbor, he frequently run-in to Everly and from the moment they met in first book, “Play to Win”, they always find a reason to argue. It feels like it is Wyatt’s life mission to get a rise out of Everly. I really enjoyed the banter between them. All that snark and sexual tension made it sizzling hot 🙂 When they were just running to each other during social gatherings, this chemistry and dislike was easy to avoid. However, after they started to work together for a project, they both start seeing different versions of the person they knew. When they decide to give chance to explore their feelings, they slowly start opening up and share their deepest secrets with each other. As for me, I couldn’t stop myself to root for their relationship and happily-ever-after.

Of course Wynn family drama is still on but finally young generation decides to dig deep and learn why the feud started so they can put an end to it. With the team effort they start to get some facts but I am really looking forward to see the all the reasons behind the drama. You can definitely read this book as a standalone but I totally recommend you to start from the beginning so you have more of an insight about the Wynn family. It was great to see a bit of the previous couples Lacey+Theo and Taylor+JP.

‘Win Big’ is addictive, sexy, heartwarming, and so much more. Once you start, you won’t be able to put it down. I can’t wait for this series to continue. I hope next book will be Arya + Harrison’s story 🙂
