‘Bodyguard to the Billionaire’ by Nana Malone

‘Bodyguard to the Billionaire’ is the first book of Nana Malone’s latest series ‘The Billionaire’; she is here with another “Guess Who” mystery. I loved all her Winston Isles series and she never disappoints. The suspense and mystery keeps up till the last page and you won’t be able to put the book down until the end.

Theo Coleman used to work for a tech company in United States. Then Theo and Kyle Winters, who is his best friend childhood, decide to open their own company. However, they are struggling with their PhilanthroApp. Then once in a lifetime opportunity knocks on their door. Derrick Arlington, King Sebastian’s cousin and one of the world’s most eligible billionaires, comes with a proposal that Theo has no way to reject. Derrick offers Theo 2 million dollars for being his body double for a month. The only thing Theo need to do is act like the CEO and follow through with a merger then he will walk away with 2 million dollars. This seems pretty uncomplicated and easy but thanks to Theo’s luck after he takes on the job, he has a missing billionaire in his hands and also people after him, who knows the truth about his identity. And thanks to a kidnapping attempted during Princess and Roone’s wedding, now Theo has a live-in firecracker he has to deal with 24/7.

Zia Barnes, Lady Zia, is a King’s Knight and a bodyguard at Royal Elite. She is really attractive, smart and determined. Thanks to her sister Deedee, she never has a dull moment in her life. Deedee always finds a way to get herself in trouble and of course Zia is always there to clean up the mess her sister creates. Other than being a bodyguard and sister, Zia doesn’t have time for anything. That is one of the reasons for her dry spell and lack of love life. So when he saw a hottie in trouble, she jumps into action. The attraction between them is palpable since the first time they laid eyes on each other. So when Zia ends up being a live-in bodyguard, meaning secretary during office hours and girlfriend for the rest, everything gets a bit hectic and hot. I already gave too much away so it is up to you to figure out the rest 🙂

Also, thanks to Nana Malone’s new additions to the gang now I have a whole list of characters I am dying to read more about and these are; my beloved King Knights Tamsin, Jameson and Trace, sexy trio Ben, Bridge and East, ohhh and of course new cousins of our King Sebastian: Xander and Alexi. I would also love to see Prince Tristan’s sister to return to Winston Isles as well. Sorry Miss Malone as you can see I have a long list of books I am waiting 🙂

I am dying to know what will happen in the next book, ‘The Billionaire’s Secret’, which will be out on September 17^th. I have my own ideas regarding Theo/Derrick’s relationship and the culprit behind the whole kidnapping/murder attempts but I am pretty sure I will be wrong again because there will be a whole new mystery Nana Malone will reveal. If you are looking for a fast, mysterious, sexy and action packed story, this book is definitely for you.
