‘Hooked by Love’ by Toni Aleo

‘Hooked by Love’ is the third and last book of the ‘Bellevue Bullies’ but if you couldn’t get enough of Sinclair clan, don’t worry you will see more of them in the next two books of the ‘Assassins’. ‘Hooked by Love’ is about baby of the Sinclair family, Jace Sinclair and Avery Haverbrooke whose family is considered as Hockey royalty.

Jace is a wanna be player, who is funny, sweet, sensitive and loyal. It is his last year as a college student and he wants to live it to the fullest. After seeing how much her mother suffered during her divorce, he is not looking for anything serious. However, everything changes when he meets Avery. The moment he sees her singing, he is a goner. I love the moment they meet; it is sooo sweet and funny just like them 🙂 Avery is a really talented singer and songwriter. She is beautiful, sweet and sassy. Her father is the commissioner of the NHL and all of her brothers are hockey players. All her life she felt neglected because hockey always came first in their family. So now that Avery moved to Nashville, away from her family, she is determined to become a famous songwriter and make her dreams come true. After their run-in, Jace and Avery meet up at a party in Bullies House and hook-up. They both think it will be a one-night stand but after the night they share, Jace cannot let her go. However, because of the things she faced in her past, she doesn’t want to be in a relationship but Jace is determined to change her mind. I love their Javery 🙂 Yeah, that is the name Jace created in order to ease Avery into a relationship. Even though, Avery fights her feelings every step of the way, she cannot stop herself from falling in love with Jace. They fell in love hard and fast. I love the way they support each other to reach their dreams and Jace is so understanding and supportive of her issues. He is always there to support her and tries to show her she is loved every step of the way. They face some ups and downs along the way. How they deal with them and move forward is for you to find out.

It was also great to see everyone from the previous books of ‘Bellevue Bullies’. I loved the banter between Jude, Jayden, Jace and Lucy, it was hilarious. It was also really touching to see how fast Sinclairs accepted Avery to their family. If you are looking for a sweet, funny and heartwarming story full of steamy moments, I totally recommend you to read ‘Hooked by Love’.
