I read all the books written by Meghan March and this is definitely one of my favorites. What can I say she is one of my favorite authors and I enjoyed all her work 🙂
So back to ‘Bad Judgment’, it was an easy and enjoyable to read and I finished it in one sitting. It is a love story between two law students Ryker and Justine. Ryker is laidback, rich, hot player who comes from a family full of lawyers. Justine is smart, beautiful and ambitious law student who has a merit-based full scholarship. Her parents are con artists who ruined her and thanks to her grand dad getting her custody she has a chance to follow her dreams of becoming a lawyer. Everything is going well with Justine until she loses her scholarship. She doesn’t have the money to pay her tuition and because of her parents she cannot get a loan. She is running out of options and getting ready to dropout of school when Ryker’s father comes to her with a proposition. If she accepts to tutor Ryker and help him to maintain his GPA, he will pay for her school. She accepts the offer but there is a slight problem, Ryker was asking Justine out for the last two year and rejected by her every time. The chemistry between Ryker and Justine is undeniable. After they start spending more time with each other and getting to know one another, they both realize that they enjoy being together. After a while, Justine realizes that she cannot resist Ryker any more and gives in.
But both have secrets that they kept from each other and Justine is not sure if she can keep up trying to maintain her GPA, working and a relationship with Ryker.
The story was amazing. It was hot, sad, serious, and funny. Everything was well balanced and I couldn’t stop reading until I was done. This book is a standalone but I wish there was another book for Merica or even Ian.
