Review Policy

First of all, thank you so much for considering me to review your book!

At the moment, I’m not currently open to review requests due to a full review list and limited time. You can still find more information about my process below for future reference. 💖

This blog is a fun project I started out of my deep love for reading and sharing stories with fellow book lovers. In daily life, I’m a General Manager with a packed schedule, and this blog is my cozy little escape. Please understand that accepting or receiving a book does not guarantee an immediate review—or any review at all.

I also reserve the right not to post a review if I don’t feel comfortable doing so.

📖 Genres I Review

I genuinely enjoy a wide range of genres. I’m not a picky reader! That said, I usually read:

❤️ Romance (Main Genre)

Sports Romance (my top love — hockey romances especially!)
Contemporary Romance
New Adult Romance
Romantic Comedy
Small Town Romance
Second Chance Romance
Slow Burn / Friends-to-Lovers / Enemies-to-Lovers
Beta Hero / Found Family Dynamics

👠 Chick Lit

Feel-good, often humorous stories with strong female leads navigating life, love, and personal growth.

🐉 Fantasy

Primarily romantic fantasy or fantasy with heavy emotional/character depth (e.g., fae, magical realms, academy settings).
Could include books with strong worldbuilding but still rooted in relationships.

🦇 Paranormal Romance

Shifters, vampires, witches — especially when character-driven and emotionally immersive.

📚 Also Reviewed (Occasionally):

Holiday Romances / Seasonals
Dark Romance (if character-rich and emotional)
Romantic Suspense
Young Adult (Romance-centric)

🚫 Genres I Don’t Review

While I’m open-minded when it comes to trying new genres and styles, there are a few categories that just aren’t my cup of tea—so I typically do not accept review requests for the following:

Political or Historical Books – I prefer stories that help me escape the real world, not dwell in it.
Horror – I’m a big softie and a scaredy-cat at heart!
Poetry – I truly appreciate the art, but it’s not something I connect with as a reader.
Religious Fiction or Non-Fiction – My blog is a cozy, inclusive space for all readers.

📩 What Kind of Review Copies I Accept

Currently, I only accept digital review copies—preferably in Kindle or ePub format via email or BookFunnel

📨 What to Include in Your Review Request

If/when I reopen to requests, please include:

A summary of the book
Your ideal timeline (if any)—so I can see if it’s doable!

All reviews reflect my honest opinions as someone who reads for joy. If I don’t connect with a book, I’ll always be respectful—but I’ll also be truthful. I don’t write glowing reviews just because I received a free copy.

By sending a review request, you acknowledge that a respectful but critical review is a possibility.

While I try to review everything I read, sometimes life gets in the way. I’ll always do my best to post in a timely manner—especially if we’ve agreed on a specific timeline.
